Indicates trends resulting from price cycles.  The commodity channel index typically indicates the presence of a price trend when it goes above 100 or below negative 100.



CCI = ( current typical price - moving average of typical price )

                            ( factor * mean deviation )


Mean Deviation = sum over n time periods of abs(typical price - typical price moving average) / n


Typical Price = ( High + Low + Close ) / 3
